PGT English Teacher (Urgently Required)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English.
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proficiency in English language and literature.
• Experience teaching English to secondary school students.
• Familiarity with CBSE or ICSE curriculum preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and foster a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to student success and holistic development.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing educational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary connections and enhance the overall learning experience.
• Engage students in literary analysis, critical thinking, and creative expression.
• Foster a love for literature and language through innovative teaching methods and activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and academic matters.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in English education.
